Hey there, I'm Jennifer!
I have a passion for being creative and working with others.
From a young age, design has been something that’s always been on my mind, whether it’s the use of colour and typography I see used around me or looking at packaging in stores. I have always been drawn to new and exciting graphic design that is bold and catches the eye. I love to see the ways in which designers design differently, and I am constantly inspired from the world around me to create my own work.
I have completed my study towards a Bachelor of Design (Communications) degree at the Otago Polytechnic School of Design and graduated at the end of 2020. Throughout my studies I have had the opportunity to work with a number of clients, and I enjoy the process of creating work that not only I am proud of, but also makes my clients happy.
My skills range from graphic design, brand identities and strategies, typography, pre-press, editorial design, photography and film.
My design studies have also helped me to challenge myself, work within teams and discover what I truly enjoy about design. I am always seeking out for new exciting design opportunities where I can work with others to the best of my capabilities.
In the future, I wish to continuously develop my skills and improve even further as a designer. My dream is to have a career working at a design studio or agency where I can be in a team amongst like-minded people.
Other than creating design work, in my spare time I enjoy dancing, baking and socialising with my friends.
