I created this chunky stencil like typeface as part of an Applied Design Techniques elective. I wanted to play around with the legibility and see how I could pull apart letters.
The brief was to come up with a phrase with our typeface, that we vinyl printed and stuck to the wall of the Communications department at the Polytechnic. My phrase I chose was "I'm not fat, I'm bold." which related back to the typeface and I printed this onto black and orange vinyl.
